Service Agreement

1Purpose of Agreement

The purpose of this Agreement is to establish the terms and conditions under which the Service Provider shall provide professional newborn care and postpartum support services to the Client and newborn child.

2Scope of Services

The Service Provider agrees to provide professional newborn care and postpartum support for one (1) newborn child. Services include but are not limited to:

• Breastfeeding and bottle-feeding support
• Formula preparation and sterilization of feeding equipment
• Newborn bathing and hygiene care
• Diaper changing and dressing
• Umbilical cord care
• Monitoring feeding, sleeping and elimination patterns
• Sleep routine establishment
• Safe sleep education and guidance
• Infant soothing techniques
• Nursery organization
• Cleaning and sterilization of bottles and baby feeding equipment
• Parent education regarding newborn care
• Postpartum guidance and emotional support for the mother
• Overnight newborn care
• Assistance during domestic or international travel with the family

The Service Provider shall provide care using professional knowledge and accepted newborn care practices.

The Service Provider does not diagnose illness, prescribe medication, or replace medical care provided by licensed healthcare professionals.

3Duration of Agreement

The Agreement may be extended upon mutual written consent.

4Service Options and Work Schedule

The Client must choose one of the following service options during the booking process:

Work beyond the agreed schedule shall be considered overtime. Any overtime arrangements must be agreed by both Parties in writing.

5Professional Service Fee and Payment

The applicable monthly professional fee is the fee for the service option selected by the Client and confirmed by the Parties:

• 12-Hour Maternity Nurse Service — AED 15,000 per month.
• 24-Hour Live-In Maternity Nurse Service — AED 18,000 per month.

The monthly professional fee shall be payable at the end of each month of service.

The Client is not required to pay the entire contract period upfront. Payments may be made via bank transfer or cash. Late payment may result in suspension of services until payment has been received.

Guaranteed Monthly Professional Fee

The Parties acknowledge that the applicable monthly professional fee is a fixed and guaranteed monthly fee for reserving the Service Provider’s professional services and availability.

The monthly fee shall not be reduced, prorated, withheld or adjusted due to temporary changes in the family’s routine, travel plans, reduced workload, family vacations, additional caregivers, or any decision by the Client not to utilize the Service Provider’s services during contracted hours.

The monthly fee secures the Service Provider’s exclusive availability for the agreed contract period.

6No Booking Deposit or Trial

No booking deposit is required to reserve the agreed service dates.

There is no trial period, trial fee, or one-day paid trial under this Agreement.

7Overtime

Work beyond the agreed schedule shall be considered overtime. Any overtime rate or arrangement must be approved by both Parties in writing before the additional work is performed whenever reasonably possible.

8Work on Weekly Day Off

If the Client requests the Service Provider to work on the designated weekly day off, the arrangement and any compensation must be agreed by both Parties in writing before the additional work is performed whenever reasonably possible.

The Service Provider reserves the right to decline work on scheduled days off except in genuine emergencies.

9Travel Assignments

If the Client requests the Service Provider to accompany the family on domestic or international travel, the Client shall provide or pay, where applicable, the following at no cost to the Service Provider:

• Suitable accommodation with reasonable privacy
• Meals or food
• Required airfare or travel expenses
• Required visa or entry expenses
• Reasonable transportation associated with the family travel

There is no separate travel allowance under this Agreement.

Travel days shall be considered paid working days and shall form part of the agreed contract period. If the Service Provider is required to sleep in the same room as the newborn for overnight care, such arrangement shall be considered active overnight duty unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to provide:

• A safe working environment
• Formula or breast milk
• Diapers and wipes
• Baby clothing
• Safe sleeping equipment
• Emergency contact information
• Medical information relevant to the newborn
• Necessary baby care supplies

Parents remain responsible for all medical decisions regarding their child.

11Professional Boundaries

The Service Provider’s role is limited to newborn care and postpartum support.

The following services are not included unless separately agreed in writing:

• General housekeeping
• Cooking
• Grocery shopping
• Cleaning unrelated to baby care
• Pet care
• Care of older children
• Driving duties
• Personal errands

Additional duties may require additional compensation.

12Additional Children

This Agreement applies to one (1) newborn only.

Care for twins, multiples, or additional children requires a separate agreement and additional fees.

13Cancellation

Either Party may terminate this Agreement by written notice.

The Client remains responsible for payment of services already rendered.

14Extension of Services

Should the Client require an extension beyond the agreed contract period, such extension shall be subject to the Service Provider’s availability and confirmed in writing.

15Confidentiality

The Service Provider agrees to maintain complete confidentiality regarding the Client, family members, medical information, financial information, and household matters.

No photographs, videos, recordings, or information regarding the family or newborn shall be shared with third parties or on social media without written consent.

This obligation shall continue after termination of this Agreement.

16Emergency Medical Care

Should an emergency arise while the parents are unavailable, the Service Provider may immediately contact emergency medical services or transport the newborn to the nearest appropriate medical facility if immediate action is necessary.

The Client remains responsible for all medical decisions and expenses.

17Liability

The Service Provider agrees to perform services using professional knowledge, skill, and reasonable care.

The Service Provider shall not be liable for congenital conditions, sudden illness, medical emergencies, accidents, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Parents remain responsible for obtaining appropriate medical treatment whenever necessary.

18Force Majeure

Neither Party shall be liable for delays or inability to perform obligations due to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, war, civil unrest, flight cancellations, or other events beyond reasonable control.

19Exclusive Reservation of Services

By entering into this Agreement, the Client acknowledges that the Service Provider reserves the agreed service dates and working schedule exclusively for the Client and may decline other employment opportunities during the contracted period.

The applicable monthly professional fee secures the Service Provider’s professional availability and commitment throughout the contract period and shall not be reduced due to changes initiated by the Client.

20Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties and supersedes any prior verbal or written agreements.

Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both Parties.

21Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws applicable in the country where the services are performed unless otherwise agreed by both Parties.

22Acceptance and Signatures

By signing below, both Parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions contained in this Agreement.
