Privacy Notice
How First 28 Newborn Academy collects, uses and protects personal information.

We aim to collect only information reasonably necessary to operate the Academy, provide our services, communicate with learners, process enrolments and payments, and maintain the security and integrity of our website and learning platform.
1. Information We May Collect
Depending on how you use the Academy, we may collect:
- Identity and contact information: name, email address, telephone/WhatsApp number and country or general location.
- Account and learning information: account details, course enrolments, learning progress, assessment results, certificates and completion records.
- Payment and transaction information: payment status, transaction references and purchase information. Full card details are handled by the payment processor and are not intentionally stored by the Academy.
- Communications: information you provide through email, WhatsApp, enquiry forms or learner support.
- Technical information: device, browser, IP address, approximate location, pages visited, session information and similar information needed for security, functionality and analytics.
2. How We Use Personal Information
We may use information to:
- create and manage learner accounts and course access;
- process enrolments, payments, refunds where applicable, and course administration;
- deliver lessons, assessments, certificates and learner resources;
- respond to enquiries and provide customer or learner support;
- communicate important information about courses, accounts, purchases and Academy services;
- maintain website, LMS and payment security and prevent misuse or fraud;
- understand website usage and improve our services, where analytics are used;
- comply with applicable legal, regulatory or accounting obligations.
3. Payments and Third-Party Services
The Academy may use third-party service providers to operate parts of the website and learner journey. These may include Stripe for payments, Calendly for scheduling, WhatsApp for communications, website/LMS hosting and storage providers, analytics services, and an email provider such as Resend. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
We do not ask learners to send full payment-card numbers, passwords or other highly sensitive credentials through ordinary email or WhatsApp. Learners should use the designated secure payment or account systems.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us operate the Academy, where necessary to provide a requested service, process a transaction, maintain security, or comply with a legal obligation.
We will not publicly publish a learner’s personal information, certificate details, testimonial, photograph, or family/client information without an appropriate lawful basis and, where consent is required, appropriate permission.
5. International Processing
Some service providers may process or store information outside the United Arab Emirates. Where this occurs, the Academy will seek to use appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for course administration, learner records, certificates, customer support, accounting, security and legal obligations. When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, subject to applicable retention requirements.
7. Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure. However, no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances of the request, you may have rights relating to access, correction, updating, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing of your personal information, and other rights provided by applicable data-protection law.

9. Cookies and Analytics
The website may use cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences and analytics. Where required, non-essential cookies or analytics technologies should be enabled only in accordance with applicable consent settings.

The Academy is intended for adult learners and professionals. Our courses are not directed to children. If we learn that personal information has been submitted by a child without appropriate authorisation, we will take reasonable steps to address the situation.
11. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice when our services, technology, providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on the Academy website with its effective date.
