About First 28 Newborn Academy

Where knowledge meets
compassionate newborn care.

The first 28 days of a baby’s life are a remarkable period of transition, growth, and development. We provide professional education for people who want to develop their knowledge and skills in newborn and infant care.

Our story

Where experience
inspires education.

First 28 Newborn Academy was born from a passion for newborn care and a desire to share practical professional knowledge with others.

Through years of hands-on experience caring for newborns and supporting families, our founder recognized the importance of proper education and preparation for anyone working closely with babies during their earliest and most important stages.

Newborn care can look simple from the outside. Professional newborn caregiving requires understanding newborn cues, safe handling, feeding support, safe sleep, hygiene, communication with parents, documentation, and knowing when professional medical attention may be needed.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between interest and preparation, transforming knowledge into practical confidence.

Our name — “First 28”

Why the first 28 days matter.

The name First 28 represents the first 28 days of a baby’s life—the newborn period and a particularly important time for establishing safe, responsive, and nurturing care.

These first weeks are filled with adjustment. A newborn is adapting to life outside the womb while parents and caregivers are learning to understand and respond to the baby’s needs.

We chose First 28 as a reminder of how important these earliest days are—and how valuable informed, compassionate care can be during this time.

The first 28 days matter.

Where a situation involves a baby’s health, illness, emergency, or medical concern, learners should follow appropriate medical guidance and seek care from a qualified healthcare professional.
