A foundational understanding of newborn care and the responsibilities involved in safe, responsive, and compassionate care.
Assessment14 module knowledge checks with 15 multiple-choice questions each, followed by a 30-question final comprehensive assessment. Each assessment requires 80% or higher to pass, and retakes are available after review.
Practical trainingHand hygiene, newborn-care station preparation, safe handling, head and neck support, positioning, feeding preparation, bottle feeding, burping, diaper changing, umbilical cord care, bathing, skin care, dressing, swaddling, safe sleep, soothing, observation, documentation, handover, communication, and escalation recognition.
